U.S. Representative Mac Thornberry files for re-election

AMARILLO, TX, DECEMBER 5, 2005: Congressman Mac Thornberry announced today that he has filed for re-election as the U.S. Representative for the 13th Congressional District of Texas.

"Many difficult issues face our country. Obviously, there are no easy solutions, but I can -- and will continue to do my best to -- work hard to represent the people of our area with integrity and push for common sense solutions," Thornberry said.

The primary election for the U.S. House of Representatives will be held on March 7, 2006.
